We accomplished:

1) Finished a semi final draft of a Detective Thriller novel “Agents and Assassins”.
2) Filmed, completed and screened the short film “Caught In Amber”!
3) Filmed and completed Post production of the experimental short film “Route 66 – UK”
4) Filmed, completed Post and submitted the music video “Endless Road” to Genero.tv competition
5) Filmed the short film “He Loves Me”.
6) Helped start a collaborative social group for women’s film makers called Whipped Cream Productions
7) Built and set up the Whipped Cream Productions Website.
Started the Whipped Cream Social Collaboration group meetups
9) Revamped the VolVentures website
10) Started the VolVentures Facebook community
11) Filmed and completed Post on the Whipped Cream short film “Saying Sorry”
12) Helped on the camera work for a short film by Red Creative Film called “Repaid in Full”
13) Helped as assistant Director and camera person on a drumming showreel for Philipe Castermane.
14) Wrote a rough draft of the SW7D Web series
15) Wrote the rough study of the story for the High Rack animation
16) Undertook a filming recon trip to SA

Now on to 2012 for biggger and brighter things!!

We are looking for the right zero/micro-budget feature script to make in 2012. I am in search of a qwirky, clever, sincere, gritty script with a strong female character as the lead and non stereotyped male & female supporting roles and a ball park budget of £5k max. I am open to all and any genres, but would be particularly interested in scripts with a surreal/fantasy element. Finally Saying Sorry is complete! Nice to have it as the last successful achievement for 2011.

I’d like to thank Natasha Gleeson and Fleur Poad for being such great, professional actors and helping us make this little gem possible. Thanks to Moira and Vincent Murphy for the use of their lovely home as a location and for their help and tolerance ).

As for my crew I’d very much like to thank Helen Ibach, Jude Dempsey and Erin McMullan for your great help both before and during the shoot and especially those of you that helped in getting this short through post production so swiftly!

Well done and a big Thank you again to Jude, Erin, and Moira for their spectacular rain making. The film looks beautiful because of it! And thanks to Helen and the entire crew for working so hard to get this in the can (on the card??)

The acting was once again superb and it was a pleasure to work with such professional and talented actors.

Today was our first official shoot day. The morning started early and we were off to a very good start. Some of our key crew were not able to attend the after noon shoot due to critical prior engagements, nevertheless the rest of the remaining crew did a sterling job making up for the lack of hands. One person with a clapper and a boom in hand at the same time was not an unlikely sight.

Well done to both cast and crew for their great contributions to the afternoon session.
Today’s highlights include Vince’s star performance, some more excellent rain-making and the brilliant performances from both Natasha and Fleur!

It was a fantastic event with a great turnout. Even more wonderfully, the feedback from the audience after the screening was overwhelming! It seems as if everyone really liked it and enthusiastically gave their views and input on how the film made them feel and the journey they went on as the audience while watching the short film.
Thank you to each and everyone for attending the screening and for your valuable input afterwards. It really is appreciated!
